Delete Your Rose Mahjong Account
Rose Mahjong (developer: Rose Mahjong) lets you permanently delete your account and associated data at any time. You can do it yourself in the app, or send us a request and we'll handle it for you.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself (fastest)
- Sign in to Rose Mahjong on the app or at rosemahjong.app.
- Open the profile menu (top right) and choose Profile.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account, then confirm.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Go straight there: rosemahjong.app/profile.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Email hello@rosemahjong.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually within 7).
What gets deleted
- Your login credentials and authentication records
- Your profile: display name, avatar, and app preferences
- Game statistics, streaks, mastered hands, and unlocks
- Friends, invites, table seats, and lobby membership
- Saved game sessions and replay data tied to your account
What may be retained, and for how long
- Billing and transaction records required for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention — retained up to 7 years, as required by law. These are held by our payment processors (Apple, Google, Stripe).
- Anonymized, aggregated usage metrics that can no longer be linked to you.
- Backups containing your data are purged on our normal rotation, within 30 days of deletion.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Cancel a Google Play subscription in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions, or an Apple subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, before deleting.
